IFC Spring 2010 Recruitment Registration is open. Click here to register.
The Recruitment process is designed to give Potential New Members (PNMs) the opportunity to have meaningful conversation about the fraternity experience with chapter members. The Recruitment Page is full of information about the endless opportunities and advantages of Fraternity life at Penn State.
For Students
Before Fraternity Recruitment begins, it's important to take time to think about your undergraduate experience:
* Do you want to make lifelong friends?
* Do you want to set yourself up for professional success?
* Do you want to have countless opportunities for community service or philanthropy?
During Fraternity Recruitment, it's important to be open minded and to not let rumor and innuendo affect your decisions in regards to Fraternity membership.
At the same time, you should be critical of Fraternity offerings and ask as many questions as possible:
* How much does it cost to be a member?
* Will I be required to live in the Fraternity house?
* How long is the new member education period?
For a student's perspective on the Penn State Fraternity experience, read the Letter from the IFC President.
The IFC Recruitment Schedule is structured to provide opportunities for Potential New Members to visit Fraternities. To view the Recruitment Schedule and Events, visit the Recruitment Schedule page.
For more information, the Spring 2010 Recruitment Policy can be found on our Documents page.
