the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life
Membership in a fraternity can a be valuable experience. Fraternity membership can enhance your Penn State experience as life-long friendships are made and leadership skills are developed.
We need you to be an active partner in your fraternity experience by becoming familiar with the community and the organizations. Please do not hesitate to contact the staff in the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office if you ever have questions about anything. We are here to support you in making your experience at Penn State one that you will remember for many years to come.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Office
Dr. Roy W. Baker is the Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Penn State.
Dr. Baker has been involved in fraternity and sorority affairs during the past 25 years, served as Dean of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs at Bucknell University and Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affiars at Syracuse University, and has been nationally recognized for his programs and initiatives.
He earned a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Virginia, a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.
The Interfraternity Council is proud to have Dr. Baker as a Council Adviser and advocate for our Fraternity community.
